Healing Hands Foundation

The Healing Hands Foundation (THHF) is an all volunteer, non-profit organization providing high quality health care to patients in areas lacking medical resources and surgical expertise. They provide pediatric surgery, general surgery, plastic surgery, OB/GYN care and surgery, dental care, cardiology services and general adult and pediatric medicine. Their aim to improve quality of life, decrease incidence of illness and death, and enable people to be productive members of their community.

Their surgeons perform surgeries which not only have obvious cosmetic benefits, but also correct functional defects: cleft lip and palate repairs so that children can eat and speak normally, release of restrictive burn scars to allow patients to move their fingers or arms, and repair of congenital malformations of the ear so that children can hear. Other examples of life changing interventions are elimination of chronic dental pain, removal of gynecologic tumors, and treatment of infections which otherwise would fester or become life threatening.

Our agents have traveled to Ecuador in 2019 & 2020 to assist the foundation.

While building business relationships in 1986, several dedicated Hispanic leaders realized the enormous potential of the Hispanic business community in the State of Maryland and envisioned the need for a state-wide organization to represent its interests before the public and private sectors. Later that year, the Maryland Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (MDHCC) was incorporated in the state of Maryland, creating a structured organization aimed at developing a business network that would provide the Hispanic community with cohesion and strength. Since its inception, the MDHCC has worked towards bringing the issues and concerns of the state’s thousands of Hispanic-owned businesses to the forefront of the state’s economic agenda.

Our Principal Broker Cristine Sanchez-Canete held the title of Secretary in which she helped local businesses connect with eachother, involved herself in brainstorming new policies, and helped organize events.

Maryland Hispanic Business Conference

The MDHBC is a conference held in Maryland annually. The purpose of the conference is to bring hispanic business owners of all varieties to one localized event. This event allows small and large businesses an opportunity at connecting with one another and can be a great chance to extend your business network. The event also allows businesses to register and purchase booths where you may solicit your companies services or network.

Cristine Sanchez-Canete our Principal Broker is an active board member of the event, and is responsible alongside other members to organize and coordinate the details and set up of the event.
